The lawsuit was due to various audio issues from the iPhone 7/iPhone 7 Plus, but Apple didn’t offer to repair the phones for free. In order to claim a portion of the $35 million settlement, you had to have owned an iPhone 7/iPhone 7 Plus between September 2016 and January 2023.
